Moin Jungs, habe grad durch Zufall gelesen, dass Twitch von Amazon aufgekauft wurde. Ursprünglich war auch Google interessiert. Kaufpreis: 970Mil. Dennoch soll alles bei Twitch wie gehabt bleiben:

Finde es zwar schade, dass Twitch aufgekauft wurde, aber wie du schon gesagt hast, auf jedenfall besser als Google 
Ob alles beim Alten bleibt, würde ich hier mal bezweifeln ^^

Ich habe es heute Nacht im TV erfahren, aber ich weiß nicht mehr wo. Als 1. muss ich @Kartoffelrudi zustimmen denn, denn nur weil Google Daten sammelt muss man es nicht hassen, denn FB, Ebay, Amazon und viele andere Sammeln auch eure Daten.
Ob Twitch bei Amazon besser ausgehoben ist muss ich eindeutig mit einen "Ja" beantworten, denn bei Google müsste man befürchten das es ähnlich streng mit den Regeln wird wie bei YouTube vor allen was Musik bei den Live Streams angeht. Auch müsste man befürchten das es zu sehr mit YouTube verwurzelt wird, was der Plattform meines Erachtens den Reiz rauben würde.
Und natürlich hat Amazon auch nur zwei Möglichkeiten, entweder sie machen es richtig oder sie versauen es richtig. Aber es bleibt abzuwarten wohin es geht. Aber eins kann man mit Sicherheit sagen, an der Infrastruktur wird es nicht Scheitern bei Amazon.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass sich Twitch doch einmal aufkaufen lässt. Ich dachte, dass sie soetwas gar nicht nötig hätten. Aber naja, besser Amazon als Google. Vielleicht kann man demnächst auf Twitch neue Filme "kaufen". [/ironie-off]

Ich nutze auch Apps aus dem Play Store, hatte ein Nexus 4, höre Musik über Google Play und auch mein Browser ist Chrome, aber was Google im Laufe der Zeit aus YouTube gemacht hat ist echt nicht schön. Bin daher also schon etwas froh, dass Twitch nicht Google gehört

Solange alles so bleibt, wie es ist, ist es doch eigentlich nicht so schlimm. Jetzt fängt auch noch Amazon an, alles zu kaufen.

Es hat einen riesen Vorteil für Twitch, dieser nennt sich AWS (Amazon Web services). Vlt wird des dadurch eher besser (vorallem Performance?)

Also ich find es net schlimm, dass die Firmen versuchen, dass richtige für sich zu kaufen.
Schließlich bezahlen die das und versuchen dies nicht zu zerstören, sondern zu verbessern, Unterstüzen.. whatever.
Solange Twitch weiter bestehen bleibt und man es weiterhin kostenlos nutzen kann.. Und nicht nachher mit Amazon prime sich registrieren muss

Nur weil Twitch nun ein mal nicht erreichbar war heißt das noch lange nicht das Amazon daran schuld ist. Bei Uhrzeiten wie 4:30 Uhr kann es sich hier auch um ganz normale Wartungsarbeiten handeln.
