ich habe gerade festgestellt, dass der Load meines Servers bei 80 + liegt (Load average) - und das ist sicher nicht normal. Nach einiegen nachforschungen habe ich heruasgefunden, dass

1 - meine Maillogs uns Syslogs größer als 10GB sind (über 1 Nacht)
2 - Der MailQ sehr häftig arbeitet.

Daraufhin habe ich einmal "mailq" eingetippt und habe eine endlange Liste bekommen:

Kann mir jemand sagen, was das genau zu bedeuten hat und wie ich einen solchen flood (ich denke zumindest, dass das ein Flood ist) stoppen kann?

Besseres captcha und vielleicht eine blacklist bei emails

@crystal973: Die Idee kam mir auch schon - nur das problem ist, dass das der Mailserver von Yahoo ist und ich somit alle Yahoomails für Kunden sperren würde.

@KoKsPfLaNzE: Captcha? - Dir ist bewusst, dass ich vom mailserver sprach.

Ich werde erstmal denke ich Amavis, Spammassassin und richtig einrichten.

Naja wie kommen den die emails in dein system? Bin von einer einfachen rehistration ausgegangen, wo man viele filter einbaun koennte gegen sowas z.b. hidden felder

Verschickt dein Server die E-Mails oder kommen die an?

Bis zur genauen Ursache würde ich erstmal die Mailserver stoppen....

@crystal973: Okay wohl wahr, aber die Option würde ich dennoch lieber offen lassen - nicht das einer qauf die Idee kommt und meint "Schlechter Mailserver" und so weiter.

@KoKsPfLaNzE: Mailserver = Wenn du beispielsweise von Outlook aus eine Mail an eine andere Mailadresse sendest, machst du das ja nicht über ein Formular, sondern über Outlook - damit der andere die empfängt muss die Mail auf den Mailserver - und ich denke, dass ich dort zugespammt werd' ^^

Achso naja wenn die mails an dich gesendet werden dann sollte man die ip doch raus bekommen von der die email gekommen ist und da vielleicht mal nach hacken. bin von formular aus gegangen naja hab ich sicher in deinem post ueberlesen

Als Erstmaßnahme würde ich den MTA abschalten, danach wären mal deine Logfiles interessant
